Day 21: Set design!!

Hello hello hello!! I hope you are doing well and today's topic of discussion is all of the sets for my opening!

To begin, we must start with my room design. I'm keeping my room pretty much the same because this opening is a reflection of my life. I will be adding some star garlands which you can see the process of me making in a video below. I will be taking down the Turkish flag for the opening because it is BOLD. I also think it might take away from the actual content of my opening.

The bed will be used for the scene of me crocheting and sleeping.

This is my ideal spot for my first shot.

I'll be filming all of the shots in my house this weekend, including the ones in the piano room.

As you also know, I'll be filming 2 shots in my taekwondo dojang. I'm planning on shooting them closer to the left side of the mat because I want the shot to establish the taekwondo setting. I think that getting the flags and the bags in the background of the shot might make a bit more sense.

This is the side I'm referring to.

I'll be filming today after class in the dojang, with the help of my friend, Mia, who will be recording the process.

Additionally, I'll be filming outside somewhere, as I give a box of baked goods to Emma. It'll probably be outside of mine or her house, but that is still undecided. 

Overall, I'm super duper excited to start filming. I am still waiting for a few more things before I can film in my room though, including the phone case (I'm waiting for the jewels to arrive.) and the star garlands (which I need to string on). I am also waiting for the striped sweater to arrive because that is the main costuming piece for my opening. Before I publish this post, I'll be uploading the videos of me making the phone case and garland as well so you can see the full process.
