Hello again!! Since the last time I posted, we've been learning about marketing and distribution in class. Now, we're starting a new project about music marketing. For the project, we are assigned a song from a genre that we've picked from a cup. My group's genre is Rock, and the song that we were assigned is "Something from Nothing" by Foo Fighters. We have to create a new band and campaign including a music video for the project.
Before the project, we had to do a research chart about music marketing and distribution to make our jobs easier. (See images below)
Using this knowledge, our goal is to create an innovative campaign for our new rock band: Metronome. Over the course of the next two weeks (not including this week, as it is Thanksgiving break), we will be working on a presentation and the music video for Metronome's debut.
